Vendor replication to different Root Nodes.

Hi Experts,

   We used to replicate buy point vendors from R/3 to SRM using the BBP_VENDOR_SYNCH job.

   now we need to replicate the pay point vendors to different Root node .

  we have done the SPRO configuration ( global settings of the supplier synchronization ) but the pay point vendor also

  assigning to Buy point vendor Root node.

  please give the inputs how we can assign the buy point vendors and pay point vendors to different Root nodes,

  and is there any impact if pay point vendors are assigned to buy point Root Node ?

  we are using SRM 7.0 Classic scenario.

Hi Bhragav,

Technically there is no impact if you  assign paypoint & buypoint vendors into same srm root orgnaization unit. Also, Vedor search criterial will filter display venors based on your purchase orgnaization.

Hi Bhargav,

Check whether you have created the Vendor groups correctly in transaction PPOCV_BBP . And also you have to give the respective Object ID while replicating the vendors through BBP_VENDOR_SYNCH.

You can monitory the logs in transaction SLG1 for any errors.
