vendor communication method transfer from ECC to BBP

I'm looking for confirmation that the BBPGETVD process will pull the communication method from the vendor (company code level) and place it somewhere in the vendor data in SRM? Regardless of what the setting? It can be XML, PRN, email....

So if it is standard for the Vendor synchronization in SRM to take the communication method from the vendor master in ECC if that is not the behavior I see in our system any suggestions on where I look? For example is there:

1) any configuration that might make it default to something different?

2) a BADI that we may have customized? BBP_SET_SEND_MEDIUM was mentioned in a recent post but that is inactive in our system.

3) is there a separate process from the vendor sync/loading that pulls over the communication method?

Hello,

Try BBPUPDVD instead of BBPGETVD and check if communication method is updated.
