Validation of unit of measure when creating service entry sheets for unplanned lean services

We are implementing the scope item 42K using S4HC as backend system. When creating service entry sheets on the Ariba Network the unit of measure is a free text and there is no validation on the value provided by the supplier.

Therefore when the service entry sheet gets transferred to SAP it fails on the integration with the Message “No measurement unit is assigned to ISO code ZZZZ”

Is there any way in which we can default/restrict the unit or measure the supplier can use on the Ariba Network?

Hello Rodrigo,

Kindly review Feature NP-15461 (Service entry sheet enhancements). Along with other things, it also helps in validating UoMs during creation of Service Entry Sheet.

Hope it helps.

Hi Abhijit,
Do you know if there is any validation for the UOM field on the invoice for a General Service line item? It appears to be a free text field, allowing users to enter any value.
