'Users_Gen' unable to run with error !

Hi,

We are with SRM 5.0.

We are unable to use 'USERS_GEN' and getting the message ' Action is not possible, HR/ALE distribution active '.

How can we resolve this ?

Hi - you wont be able to generate CP or BP using users_gen as long as HR-replication is active. What you could do is to manually assign the user to an already existing CP using PPOMA_BBP, and then manualy assign the CP to a position afterwards. Should work for test purposes as least

HI,

As per OSS note # 928575 onwards, it should not be allowed USERS_GEN when primary replication is active. (HR ALE).

Can you try HR ALE Replication =Off only during USERS_GEN ? Like HRALX-HRAC = ' ' ( delete X)

Hi,

This error ocurs if you have HR system inegrated to SRM and all the organization and user specific data is disstributed from HR to ECC using ALE. In this case probably you create new user in HR system and replicate then using ALE with transaction PFAL.

Thanks for your reply. That part am aware of.

Problem here is, i need to create user in SRM alone though it is linked to the HR/ALE.

I want to know the solution for this and i think this is possible for sure.
