use of BBPV_COMP_FIELDS in processing output

Hello experts

May i know where I can see the codes related to the use of BBPV_COMP_FIELDS in deciding whether an output message will be created?

Reason is, I want to replicate the same behavior with our scenario in which output generated in ECC,  done via controlling clearing of variable no_messaging, in the BAPI call to ECC..
