Upgrade from SRM 550 to SAP SRM 7.0 EHP1

Dear Experts,

We work with SRM Server 550 ECS = Extended Classic scenario.

The functional scenario is:

Self service with the ECS.

Strategic sourcing that include Bidding Engine & Contract Management

SRM-MDM Catalog 2

We work with one backend system = ECC 5

The BW report version is 3.5.

The question is, if we are intend to upgrade to SAP SRM 7.01 EHP1 based

on Net weaver 7.02, is there any problem to work with the Backend ECC 5

and BW 3.5?

Hi,

There will be no issues. Just that you won't be able to avail of the new features of SRM 7.0 which are delivered in conjunction with ECC 6 (Ehp4). These features include ESOA based architecture, central contracts, service procurement etc.
