Unable to modify SRM order

HI SRM Gurus,

There is an issue with SRM for our client.

A shopping cart has been created and further to that PO has been created. Release strategy has been set up (in R3) and same has been picked up. But the user has not yet released the PO.

Now the requestioner needs to change (delete) the line item in PO. System is throwing an error "Document is still being processed in Background: Try again later".

The PO has not being created in R3 (since the PO has not being released in SRM).

Any pointers in this direction will be helpfull.

Thanks and regards,

Narender.

What's the status of your PO?

It happened very rarely and sporatically, but we have experienced an HELD PO been locked by workflow. If you run SM12 and can't find any entry by PO GUID as part of the key, it could be the case that the PO is stuck in the workflow lock. Try to see if there is any relevant entry in BBP_WFLOCK table. If so, apply Note 820040 - Canceling a workflow lock in the BBP_WFLOCK table.

Hi Gopal,

We are using extended classic scenario.

The shopping cart has been approved and hence the PO is created.

PO is created in SRM only but it has not been replicated in R3.

Also, table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB is for shopping cart and not for PO's.

Any pointers??

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Hi Narendar,

Your question is not clear.

1. In Classic scenario

Shopping cart is created in SRM -After approval --- P.O will be created in SAP R/3. Where you can change the P.O.

It seems you are using classic scenarion only. Just wait and try to change the P.O.

The PO has not being created in R3 (since the PO has not being released in SRM).

This line means that the Shopping cart is not approved in SRM Is it so.

Please give your error clearly
