Unable to delete product category in SRM from COMM_HIERARCHY

Hi,

We are on SRM 5.0/ECC6.0.

One of the material groups in ECC was deleted but the product category is still available under COMM_HIERARCHY. When I try to delete the same from COMM_HIERARCHY, I get a message saying that change is only possible in ECC system. (Hierarchy can only be changed in original system)

Please advise on how to delete the specific product category.

Hello,

Have a look at topic 6 of note 872533.

It mentions how to delete product categories in SRM.

This action is not recommended to be performed in production systems.

Dear Ricardo,

I had already seen this note. But when I try using any of the reports mentioned there, it will delete the entire hierarchy. I want to only delete 1 product category in te hierarchy.
