Hi,
client is unable to edit the PO type in any case via ME22N, while in development we are able to edit it no problem.
What might be the case?

Solved: the issue was that, in some POs, the material included was a performance, which blocked the editing entirely, even when added to an already existing PO. Even trying to delete the performance row, the issue still persists.

Hello Gabriele,

Are all conditions similar between dev and prod? Besides authorizations, original ME21n PO type, even system release?

If so, then try focusing on local stuff like release/approval if theres one in place.

Could a colleague be working on settings at the same time?

Change of number ranges for PO types? (not sure if you get a grey field or an error message instead...).

All the best,
