Transfer of Custom field data to connected ECC system through Interface

Dear Team,

We are using the central procurement scenario with connected ECC system.

We have created a custom field in S4HC & would like to transfer the data to the connected ECC system using the interface. But we have realized currently it is not possible to enhance the payload with a custom field.

Hence we are using existing payload fields to transfer the custom field data.

Is anyone aware of any developments in this area? We could not find any information in the Roadmap for upcoming releases.

Any suggestion and workarounds are welcome!

Dear Team,

With 2005CE, we have enabled field extensibility for central purchasing scenario , which means incase in connected system any field has been enhanced, now we can view them in manage PR centrally & mange PO centrally app.

With regards to your requirement, currently it's not possible in standard. Will definitely be considered as part of process extensibility in future
