To make purchasing group "blank"

Hello gurus,

I have a user requirement, where during shopping cart creation, irregardless of free text or catalog, they would like the purchasing group field to be blank. As is, system will automatically default the first purchasing group that is created in the organization structure.

We are currently using srm 7.

Purchase group is piece of important docuement.

create one dummy purchase group and assign all material group there if business allows

it impact lot.

if it is blank cart can not be ordered successfully.

Hello Tong Yen,

To answer to your request, just give responsability to first Purchasing Group to all product categories.

In this way, this purchasing group will be always the default purchasing group.
