The confirmation with status "Posted in the back end" does not exist in ECC

Hi,

We posted the confirmation in SRM and status has been updated to "Posted in the Back end".

But there is no GR/Service entry sheet available in back end system for the PO in Purchase Order History tab.

How to know the IDOC number for the particular confirmation?

Please help me. Thanks in advance.

Thanks & Regards,

Siddu

Hello Siddappa,

do you have multi-backends connected to your SRM system?

Hi All,

The issue is that the status of the confirmations are updated to ‘Posted in the backend’ even if the backend document was not actually created.  As per our initial analysis, this happens when the posting date of the confirmation is from the previous posting period i.e. when the confirmation kept on Hold and then posted in next posting period.

We have raised a OSS message. I will update the solution once we get response from SAP.

Best Regards,

Siddappa

Hi Siddappa,

Do you have any response from SAP as we are also facing exactly the same problem.

In SRM, the status is 'posted in backend' whereas there is no document in ECC and neither SRM has backend document number in PO tracking.

We have also tried executing FM BBP_PD_CONF_TRANSFER_V2 manually but not success.

FYI, we are on SRM 7.0

You inputs will be helpful.

Thanks in adv!

Hi Unni,

We have applied the below mentioned OSS notes which fixed the issue.

2180431, 1092649 and 2222653

Please check if these are suitable for your problem.

Hi Siddu,

When you post a Confirmation in the SRM system, an outbound Idoc would be triggered in the SRM system of message type MBGMCR. Then in ECC system, an inbound Idoc of the same message type would be generated.

Once the material document is posted in ECC, the same will be updated in SRM system in the table BBP_PDBEH once BBP_GET_STATUS_2 job is run. You can compare the data records and time stamps of the idocs and see if the idoc has been posted properly or not and can reprocess the idoc if necessary.

Refer the document link for the process of confirmation posting from SRM to ECC.

hi Siddappa,

Pls check txn the monitor pool of confirmation in RZ20, if the IDOC got stuck, there should be the error msg that including the idoc number.
