When a supplier self registeres from a Supplier Registration page and submits his/her registration, I don't see any email notification being sent to any internal employee (purchasing department). There is no mail type with this type of notificaton.
Only way I see is that one has to go to Supplier workbench and look for pending registration.
Is it possible to get an email notification when a supplier self registers?

Hi Manoj,
I don't think it is possible in standard configuration. Since anyone can access the vendor registration sheet, there is no specific target group to send the email to.
However, with a small customization this functionality should be possible.
