Substitute User is not able to change the Shopping cart

Hi,

We are facing issue as substitute is not able to change the Shopping cart , But he can accept the changes which in tern reject the shopping cart.

This specific case is only when Shopping cart is rejected above buyer Approval. If Buyer is rejecting the Shopping cart , then Shopping cart can be changed by creater as well as by Substitute.

Hi,

I think you are talking about substitute for requester and not substitute for approver.

I think Workflow substitute setting is for workitem (make a decision) and not for application (changing SC).

Hi

The SHOP FOR and Workflow Substitutes are different functionalities.

There are some few notes available on service marketplace which explains some problem areas when SHOP FOR user is not able to change the cart.... Check the OSS NOtes for your SRM Release levels....

You are correct; Substitute I have maintained is for the Requester Only.

Work flow setting I didn't find for work item (make a decision) & not for application (Changing SC).

In this case, it should not allow substitute to change the shopping cart when rejected by buyer.

This specific case is when Shopping cart is rejected above buyer level, and then substitute is not able to change the shopping cart.

HI Virender,

I agree that Shop for & Work flow functionality is different.

This issue is related to the substitute maintained for the work flow functionality. where in X person is maintained substitute of Y.

Y have created the Shopping cart & when Buyer is rejecting the shopping cart, Work item is coming in Substitute & requester's inbox. both the ppl can change the shopping cart & resend for further approval.

But when Shopping cart is rejected by the approver above buyer, then requester can change the shopping cart but substitute can not change the shopping cart.

Hope issue is clear.

I have checked the OSS Message 754425. but didn't find much on the same.

I think it is designed that way. Do you get any error message? Do you use Team Cart in SRM 7.0 ?

We are not getting any message , only change tab is not appearing. we are pon SRM 5.O Add on system.
