Subroutine pool ARBCIG_SHIP_NOTICE_REQUEST_OUT

Hi Experts,

The subroutine pool ARBCIG_SHIP_NOTICE_REQUEST_OUT is used to send ship notice to the Ariba network for outbound delivery.

But we have requirement to send ship notice to Ariba network for inbound delivery, so I am wondering if same subroutine pool can be used to achieve the requirement. Please help me out.

Hello Moni,

In the standard procurement process, the inbound delivery is created by suppliers and this process should be initiated by a supplier in the network.

The reason that we have the ARBCIG_SHIP_NOTICE_REQUEST_OUT for outbound delivery is because this process is initiated by the buyer and suppliers need to receive a copy of the document.

That said, such program cannot be used to send inbound delivery documents to the network, if you are a buyer.
