Storage Location not transferred in SRM

Hi,

We are on SRM 7.0 Ehp1 and ECC 6.0 Ehp3. In the org structure in SRM, in the extended attributes I am unable to select Storage Location as no value appears in the dropdown.

We have implemented note 1175255 in ECC but still the problem persists. If I try to manually assign the storage location, then the plant mapping does not appear.

Kindly help. Also will I not be able to order a SC if Storage Location is not configured?

Hi,

Have you already replicated the plant to the SRM using the standard program BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_SELECTED?

Once the plant is replicated, you can proceed to maintain the plant and storage location in the organizational structure.

Yes I have replicated plants and also able to assign plants as locations in the extended attributes in the org structure. However the storage location does not appear in the F4 help in extended attributes inspite of implementing note 1175255.

There is no error. Just that we dont see any value in the F4 help for storage location. Hence unable to assign my backend storage location in the extended attributes.

Hi,

without looking at your organization structure, frankly is not easy to tell you what is wrong.

But 1st check i will made is that the related logical system is specified correctly in the organizational structure.

You can manually execute the FM BBP_RFC_READ_TABLE in the ERP for the table T001L and see if there are positive result because this routine will be called by the SRM each time.

Yes I did execute the FM you have mentioned for the table T001L in the ECC system and I could see the storage locations in the output.

But why are these not visible in SRM?

Hi Siva,

Have you try to run report: BBP_ATTR_TEXT_REFRESH , with attribute: :"LAG" and then recheck again to the structure upon updating the storage location.

Yes I did run the report with the attribute LAG and I could see my storage locations in the result.

However I still cant assign the storage location in the extended attributes of my SRM org structure.

Please report to SAP support is what i would suggest.. It seemed you have done everything correctly but somehow the F4 display is not on your screen.

Sometimes F4 could be due to SAP GUI version also but i am unsure about your situation.. did you try on other pc and same result as well?
