SSO can only be used with internet explorer?

Hello together,

SAP's documentation regarding SSO states that SSO is only used with Internet Explorer. The exact wording is "All users use Internet Explorer browsers only".

We have an Ariba Snap project and the customer asks for browsers like Chrome or Edge. Since we are not doing the SSO implementation ourselves, I thought someone from the community could give me some info on this.

I see what you mean, but according to the documentation, that browser constraint is limited to IIS Web Authentication for Windows scenario.

Remote Authentication for Ariba On Demand

Your customer could be using different flavors of enterprise SSO solutions, including AD integration. And all of them should work with different browsers.
