SRM70 BRF - How to create a deadline event / notification

Hi All,

We are implementing SRM70 BRF (proces-controlled) workflow. This workflow works like this:

1 optional completion step

at least 1 mandatory approval step

When a person does not react on an approval step within 6 days we want to automatic forward the workitem to his manager.

How can we make this happen? Is Alert Management an option, or should we use BRF events/expressions ? Or should we extend the workflow task TS40007974 ?

Our BRF Process Level Configuration looks like this:

(we implemented BADI Enhancements, as we are using Z-tables for approval determination for completion (step 10). For approval determination (step 20) the PPOMA-structure is used)

10 Approval with Completion 3EV_PO_600_001_100 40007973 SRM Purchase Order Completion

20 Approval 3EV_PO_600_001_100 40007974 SRM Purchase Order Approval

999 Automatic (System User) 0EV999 40007988 Automatic Approval

So for example,. could/should we add a line 30 Event for deadline? Or should we add an additional expression in line 20 ?

Hi,

You can send alert notification but you can not send workitem to other person in Process-Controlled Workflow.

For alert notification, please go to IMG "Define deadline for Events".
