Hi All,

We are having huge issues while using USERS_GEN transaction to synch org structure. What is happening that some times we get user issues that he is not able to submit shopping cart and during analysis we found that Org structure link is broken.

then we establish the object link via USERS_GEN ..however it is establishing onject link but updating incorrect email IDs for BPs under org unit BP.

so what system is doing that it is taking emai ID of BP above it and update in self and all below new BP.

please advise if some one else has similar issue and any solution/ SAP Note for the same since this is very critical as approval emails are flowing to wrong persons

Regards,

Dharmesh

HI

Usually when you assign a user to the SRM org strucutre the BP is created automatically and the email is picked from what you maintained for this user via SU01.

You can try BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE to check the consitency of your org strucutre

Thanks Sam,

issue is not with BP creation, we usually get below error for employee (BP is already created but relationship link is broken

"Employee relationship between BP 6392 and BP(Org) 31517 missing"

now when we run users_gen or HRALXSYNC to synchronize/repair this, email data in BP gets updated incorrectly.

lets say BP 6392 is user A and BP(Org) is X

and assume that BP X has 4 BPs(1001,1002,7001 & 7002 ) in relationship. now when we repair this relationship via users_gen for BP 6392 so it will be reapired correctly and will show up in order

1001

1002

6392

7001

7002 under Org BP X

now email ID in BPs 6392,7001 & 7002 is updated with email ID of BP 1002.

Hope issue is clear now.

not sure if somebody has ever seen such a issue as USERS_GEN is standard transaction.

HI,

This looks like a strange issue. One way around is to remove the user assignment and relationship and then try to assign these users again.

Hi Dharmesh,

You should remove the assignment of user's position from the org unit it is currently assigned to, save the changes and then again re-assign the same position back to the same org unit. Then do a consistency check and recheck the issue.
