SRM Upgrade: Error in Downtime Phase with BTCTRNS1 job.

Hi,

Title: SRM Upgrade: Error in Downtime Phase with BTCTRNS1 job.

We are getting the above error during upgrade from SRM5.0 to SRM7.0. Some problem with the job JOB_BTCTRNS1

The logs say as follows:

CURRENTPHASE MAIN_SWITCH/JOB_BTCTRNS1

SAPup broke during phase JOB_BTCTRNS1 in module MAIN_SWITCH / Downtime I: Switch tables and Kernel

Error Message: RFC_ERROR 2: DUMP_ERROR

Hi All,

The problem is solved.

We logged into the system as Normal user(not as DDIC or so) by executing the following commands and ran the report in SE38 manually - BTCTRNS1 to see the error clearly.

Cd /usr/sap/EBS/upg/abap/exe

tp unlocksys EBS pf=/usr/sap/EBS/upg/abap/bin/DEFAULT.TPP

tp unlock_eu EBS pf=/usr/sap/EBS/upg/abap/bin/DEFAULT.TPP

The error was a simple one - Spool overflow. We corrected the error and the Upgrade continued.
