Hi Experts,
We have implemented the SRM UI Add-On 1.0 SP04 in our SRM system version 7.02 SP11.
Our normal shopping cart scenario works fine in UI Add-On shopping screen. Later we have started the configuration for cross catalog search.
We have installed the TREX server and connected the TREX server with the SRM System. Then we called the transaction ESH_MODELER to configure the model for cross catalog search. But the strange thing is we are not able to see the software component "SRMNXP01" as mentioned in the cookbook. The component is missing.
We have also checked the same by running the report program "ESH_IEF_IMP_OM_UPDATE_CONTENT" but the result is same, the software component "SRMNXP01". Please throw some light on how to find or where to start our analysis for this missing component.

Issue could be Models could have installed in wrong client.
You can refer to Notes 840472, 951888 , where there is a comment
5. Postprocessing of installation HR-CEE 106_500
• Use transaction SGEN and "Generate all objects of selected software component" HR-CEE. There may not be any errors.
• When you install the HR-CEE into the system, the content of "C" tables (part of template customizing) remains in client 000 only.
If you want to import the content of "C" class tables into non-zero clients, you must consider possible damage to already existing customizing in the target client. If there IS NO customer-specific customizing in the target client (= installation to new system), you can use SCC1 transaction to copy all client-dependent objects (including "C" tables) to the target client. If there IS customer-specific customizing in the target client (live HR system, system with customizing different than SAP standard) you may not use the SCC1 transaction and the content of "C" tables can be transferred only manually. Program RPULCP00 can help you to identify tables in question.
Kindly check it if you move ESH models to right client.

Your response really helped us a lot to find a bread crum . When we check the transaction ESH_MODELER in client 000, the software component SRMNXP01 was available. Then we run SGEN from our client XXX where we are configuring. the result was not happy. We dont see teh SC SRMNXP01 in client XXX.
Are we doing right or wrong in any steps?

Hi Sven,
Yes we were able to solve this problem.
The root cause of this issue in our system was that the installation of SRM UI Add-On ends with error or the installation was not complete. Then we upgraded the SRM UI Add-On to SP05 and the issue get solved.
Please check with your basis on the installation whether everything went well.
