Hi,
I am upgrading the SRM system landscape whcih comprises of -
SRT system [SRM Project Development]
SRQ system [SRM QA]
SRP system [SRM Production]
SRD system [SRM Development]
I will be upgrading in the following sequence only as mentioned.
Existing - SRM 7.01 sp12 on NW 7.02 sp15
UPGRADE to - SRM 7.0 Ehp 4 on NW 7.5 sp1
In SRT system I have downloaded all the relevant downloads from SOLMAN,
SUM, EhP4 softwares
I have upgrade my hostagent to 7.21 SP 11
Now when I start SUM,
http://localhost:1128/lmsl/sumabap/SRT/doc/sluigui/
I get error like -

Please contact the SAP support

I had this problem as well. I got past it by switching to the Chrome browser instead of IE.

I updated hostctrl to latest version (sp 13) and solved the problem

Same problem here to, I'm going to open a ticket too, but let me know if you find a solution. Its worked on 2 machines and failed on 2. I've updated to the latest hostagent with no effect.

I got the same f...g message....The only option was to kill the SAPup processes, restart the saphostagent (i run the latest version 7.21 PL11)...
I tried to find an older SUM version (SP14) which worked with the old fashion method (JAVA applet) which was more easier and stable...but SAP has removed all the older SUM versions..
This is totally crazy

I have the same error using SUM 1.0 , Software Update Manager (1.0, SP16, PL3)
When i closed the URL http://x.x.x.x/lmsl/sumjava/SOL/ProcessOverview.html and i tried the retrieve the URL and message appear :
Process Executor cannot trigger ABAP process start
