SRM Surrogate Bidding after Fax bidder sends a fax close to end date

Hello team,

We have an issue:

A fax bidder sends a fax 2 minutes before the end date on the Bid Invitation. This means that a surrogate bidder will not have enough time to enter the bid into the system. How can we handle this situation where in a surrogate bidder can enter the bid before the end date.

Workaround is that the buyer changes the RFx close date and then captures the bid as a surrogate bidder. Alternative ccreate a custom date field that you use to communicate an earlier close date to the suppliers for offline submission of bids.
