Hello.
I'm doing some tests with shopping carts in SRM. These shopping carts have "N" materials with different product hierarchy. Example: material 1 - 010401001; material 2 - 010401002; material 3 - 010401003; material 4 - 010401004.
For all these materials I have one associated contract defined for product hierarchy. This contract has the same four product hierarchies that the materials.
Is any solution if I want to creat the same type of contract but instead of put all four lines with the hiearchies, I've put only a line with a main hierarchy? Example: 0104
I have "N" materials with "N" product hierarchies so this works if I creat a contract with the same "N" lines of product hierarchies.
I have a main product hierarchy for those materials but the process does not work because it gives me a error to put the same N product hierarchies in the contract.
It is possible to have another approach for this?
Thank you.

Hello Ivy.
I'm doing some tests with shopping carts from catalogues (MDM-SRM).
I have a large number of materials, with diferent hierarchies, and I have just one contract that has all the hierarchies listed. It is not a material contract.
This process works, I just need to have the material hierarchies defined in a contract and I can use it for all materials that have the same hierarchies.
Imagine that I have a material hierarchy that is used for some type of materials. I have a budget in the contract and I can use it for all the materials with the same hierarchy.
But if I have a large number of materials with different hierarchies and the same supplier. Is it possible to not list all the used hierarquies in the contract? Can I creat a main material hierarchy for the contract and in a shopping cart have X materials with lower hierarchies? And in this shopping cart I have automatically the contract.
Example:
Contract - Y budget
Hierarchy category - 0104 (parent)
Shopping Cart with the contract
Material 1 - Hierarchy category - 010401 (child)
Material 2 - Hierarchy category - 010402 (child)
Material 3 - Hierarchy category - 010403 (child)
(...)
I know that my explanation is confuse, but with my poor knowleage in this area, is a bit difficult to explain better.
I hope you understand me.
Thank you.

Hi,
I read your description, but I am not sure if I understand your expectation correctly:
Do you want to create hierarchy items for these four materials, but only want to link the relevant contract in hierarchy line, not item line?
Right?
Please clarify your request so that I could provide more hints regarding to this.
By the way, how is the SC created? Manually created in SRM? or transfer from ECC PR?
BR,
Ivy
