SRM- PRD system is running slow

Hello Friends,

We have observed system performance issue from last 2 days in our Production environment (ABAP and Portal) both and after monitoring and analysing the system we have found two things which may be possibly a cause of system performance.

1. All BATCH process are occupied and in running status.

2. Swaps table value for Buffer (OTR and CUA) is showing in RED.

I have attached screen shot of both for your reference.

Request you to please suggest, if any other area (Network, Firewall, VPN) needs to be checked.

Please note the issue is only in Production environment.

Sorry for the late reply!!

Thanks for your reply, and i would like to inform that issue has been resolved. The root cause of the issue was all the BATCH work processes were occupied because of one background job which is running with the delay status and causing all the batch jobs to run with the delay.

We have analyzed the affected batch job and after stopping and rescheduling it has resolved the issue.

Hi Hemant,

Is there a specific SRM application which is has performance issue or is the SRM portal in general? Is possible to attach ST12 trace as mentioned in in KBA note 1846219?
