SRM PO Goods Recepient field transfer into ECC

HI,

We are facing a issue which would need your advise. 

We wanted the GR Recipient field from SRM to be passed on the ECC PO.  As this was not standard we put in a code to pass this field value to ECC PO. It works for normal PO.  However, we do not see it passed for a Limit PO & Service POs. 

As we have put in our custom code to pass the field - SAP Support says - this is custom. 

Has anyone else faced the same issue?  How did they handle it?

Appreciate any sort of inputs.

Hello Srini,

Could you please provide details how you have achieved it? As you said you guys put custom code which i believe must be in BADI to pass details back into ECC. Once you do BADI code SAP do not support that.

There may be some BADI code you may have to re-visit to see if LImit PO and Service PO are being ignored.

hello Srini,

In SRM for Confirmation of Material Idoc created and data get transfer to ECC, In case of Limit PO in SRM system  create Service PO in ECC . Confirmation for Service PO /Limit po is created through RFC call via BAPI. Please do enhancement in BAPI in ECC which create Service entry sheet.

Hi Srini,

You did not put your question correctly.

do you not want to have the goods recipient field filled up for limit & service PO ? or what SAP is saying is correct or not ?

As this is a customized program inserted by you, of course SAP will not help you. so for this, you only need to put another code which will identify if its limit/service PO the goods recipient field is not filled.
