SRM Personalization

Hi All,

Please could someone advise if it is possible to change the user settings (Attributes like defalut plant or location, product categories etc) in Personalization using the SRM Portal instead of PPOMA_BBP and reflect it everywhere in the sytem.

Hi ..Apologies for coming back late but the attribute Plant/Location is already exists in this table but we are still unable to change the default location through Portal. Also we are able to change all other attributse except location.

I am not sure if extended attribute could be maintained through BBP_ATTR_ACCESS.

you control via position wise via extended attribute vis ppoma_bbp

search user and go to his position and go to extedended attribute . do want you want for tha position.

if you maintain value that is only for position i.e only for that user.

Yes exented attribute needs to be extended but not through PPOMA_BBP but through Portal directly by the users themselves.

Hi Abhishek,

User will be able to maintain the attribute by themselves , provided the access has been given to them through role.

chekc the table BBP_ATTR_ACCESS , for the various roleyou have deafult acess like modify , display etc.

if you have Z roles make an entry into the table for the Z role and provide modify access to the attribute required. then through setting link user will be able to maintain the attribute themself.

manager can do for his/her department memebers

admin can do for all

as an employee he can not assign any attribute via settings in the web page.
