SRM Organisation Structure creation problem

Hi,

I have created a Root Org and under the Root org -one Dept org and position for the Dept Org

I have created an USER --User01 in the SRM server -SU01 and assigned the roles.

How to assign this user -User01 to the Dept Org .I am uanble to assign.

Whether to create a Central person separately.

I went to users _gen where i can see the user01. how to assign the

User01 to the Dept org..

Root Org ---TEST ORG

Dept Org --- HR Dept Org

Position --GM HR

User -- User01

Please give your inputs

Hi Ganesh,

In our case we are integrated with HR system, so the central person is generated automatically during the transportation of the Business partners from HR system.

In your case you have to created the business partner manually in transaction BP and after that to assign employee role to this BP. So you have to go to transaction BP -> go to create person tab, enter employee name and address (at least country, city and postal code). Go to relationship tab and create relationship category" is employee of" and select the BP number of the organizational unit to which the position is assigned and save. I think that the CP will generate automatically for this BP, after you have assigned the employee role.After that if you go to transaction PPOMA_BBP, in the search screen called "find by" on your left sight you my search for this CP by employee name or BP number which you have created in the previous step. If a CP has been generated go to transaction PP01, fill the required entry fields:

plan version: current plan;

object type: position;

Object ID:enter position ID,

press enter and go to "create infotype" icon - where you have to create new relationship A008 Holder and enter the CP number and Save.

Go back in transaction PP01, this time select object type CP and enter the CP number -> create relationship B008 Is Identic and enter user ID of the user which you want to be assigned to this position.

What problem did you faced exactly, while running the transaction USER_GEN. You will give the org id (department org id 500xxxxxx) and country name and select the user name. Are you facing any error in this process?? Pls eloborate.

Hi Ganesh,

Go to users_gen

click on copy user and employee data

select the 3 radio button from top and click on execute

selec the drop down in org unit id(here you can find the BP number of respective department where u are looking to place the user) and selec the country and clcik on continue

click on area of user and enter the user name and press enter

then go and check in org structure

When you integrate su01 user /user to organisation structure CP and BP will be created automatically for each user.

You can do this in two ways .

1. USES_GEN-- this when you initially assinging the user to SRM Org stucture.

2. PP01 where you need to maintianed the relation.
