SRM Org Structure

Hi all

In my company we are selling off a division that is currently in our org structure however for a period of time we will continue to host that company on our systems. So I need a new root org for this particular company. The company code is not changing nor are cost centres etc..... When I try and create a new root org I get the message that Company Code XXXX is system is already assigned to XXXX

.So I suppose the question is two fold can I have more than one root org in SRM and if so where company code etc.... is not changing how to manage this?

Are you pointing this particular company to a backend company code that is already mapped in SRM?

This could be the reason for message "Company Code XXXX is system is already assigned to XXXX".

You would be able to map only one backend company code to a specific SRM company code (under Function tab in PPOMA_BBP).
