SRM Org structure transfer - SRM 5.0

Hi ,

We are using SRM 5.0 & No HR-MODULE in ECC

We have an existing SRM Org. Structure and would like to Add New company codes and few departments under the company code.

once we create the New company code in SRM ,

1. Is it possible to replicate the New Company code and departments from Dev to QA to PROD ?

2. Do we need to created the New company code and departments in each system seperately ? if so, Org units Numbers will be different compared to other systems. please advise.

3. what all steps or pre-requisites to be taken care for New company code , Purchasing org, Purchasing group creation in SRM/ECC?

4. Any configuration involved in the above set-up ?

Hi,

1. No

2. Yes. The numbers will be different. This is reason for 1. No. And there should be no problem for that.

3. New company code - nothing special

New purchasing org - nothing special

New purchasing group - should be placed under purchasing organization. Reponsibility tab should be maintained accordingly. Meintain customizing in SPRO: "Define Objects in Backend System (Purch. Reqs, Reservations, Purch. Orders)".

Of cource maintain attributes for the new objects.

Hi Konstantin,

Is it possible to assign the same User ID - ABCD with different positions in SRM Oragnization structure. If yes,  how can this be done & any impact ?
