SRM-MDM catalog default sort hierarchy/supplier by supplier

We are on SRM-MDM catalog 7.01 with SRM 5.5

In MDM UI configuration 'customise search' we have hierarchy and selection list set to supplier. The 'customise display' tab is set as 'default sorting' = "supplier", but when you shop from MDM catalog the suppliers are not sorted in alphabetical name sequence.

Can anyone explain how you sort suppliers in sequence?

Had to apply SRM-MDM Catalog 3 - SP08 Patch 2. This sorted sorting issues.

the sort there means in what sort order you get the table of results (records)

the sort in the supplier list is in what order its seen in the data manager

Hello Neil,

A commom mistake here is that when setting configurations on the Customize UI tool is that you are not selecting the correct user when applying the changes.

For example, you are saving configuration for "Default User", but you logon to catalog with "Admin". Changes you just made won't be seen.
