SRM Limit PO Storage location

Good afternoon Guru's,

My current system is SRM 7.04 extended classic to ECC 6. I am trying to use storage locations and am able to see and edit them on both the SRM shopping cart and purchase order for standard material items. I can see and edit them on the limit item shopping cart but the field is not visible in the SRM Limit purchase order.

Is there a way to make this field visible on the SRM Limit PO? I have an incident created with SAP but thought I would reach out here as well. I'm hopeful there is some configuration and no customization required to fulfill this need.

Hi, Customer,

Is this limit a Framework material limit or a service Limit？

The storage location field will be available for material item provided be_plant is filled. Please check the meta data class and method which controls the meta data of this field

/SAPSRM/CL_PDO_DYN_MDF_IT_PO~STORAGE_LOCATION

If your business process requires the storage location need to handled from UI request you to extend the method with post exit / overwrite exit to handle the requirement.

"As of SRM 7.02, improvement note 2402174 has been created as part of Customer Connect program. With this new functionality, 3 new fields - Company Code, Plant and Storage location will be available for limit item in Extended Classic and Classic scenarios. For local scenario, company code field alone will be available.

Switch SRM_702_SC_LIMIT_PLANT is offered in this new improvement note.

Thank you for your response. The note you provided shows the steps to make the storage location available on the limit item shopping carts. I have already activated that field on the shopping cart. It is the Limit Purchase Order that I need to display the field on.
