SRM - ECC (Classic scenario) , PI used to transmit data.

Hi,

       We have SRM and ECC setup with classic scenario and PI is used for data transfer. Could you anyone throw light on what are the challenges will be faced instead of using RFC call. Please advise.

Hi,

Additional PI systems and consulting effort will be needed for PI.

PI settings have to be done for in SRM, ECC and PI systems for each scenario.

Testing is also an additional effort.

For certain scenarios PI is mandatory. For example service procurement classic (with service hierarchy) PI is mandatory. So call has to be taken depending on the additional cost and effort.
