SRM Classic scenario - Multiple PO number ranges for different PO document types

Hi ,

We are using SRM 4.0 with Classic scenario.

currently all the PO document types are having same number ranges, but now we want to have a different number range for new PO document type .

Is it possible to have a new number range for new PO document type ? if so, how .

If cannot, any useful suggestions are appreciated.

Hello,

BAdI BBP_BS_GROUP_BE has method GET_NUMBER_OR_RANGE, that can be used to define different number ranges according to your own logic.

Have a look at the documentation available in SPRO transaction for BAdI "Grouping of Shopping Cart Items for Follow-on Documents".
