Hello All.
Has anyone configured the TTE (Transaction Tax Engine) in SRM.
We are planning for a Standalone Scenario and contemplating various Tax Options including Vertex/Taxware and TTE. And looking to leverage experience from others that may have pursued this path.
We are going to be creating "Invoices" in SRM.
Appreciate the advice.
Request clarification before answering.
Hello
Vertex we had connected to R/3 system and fetched the tax amount data by only passing tax code from SRM. However this info may help you. I am just sharing my experience.
Connect the vertex system with SRM ..(RFC). You will have all the tax procedures determined inside vertex system based on the Delivery location Jurisdiction code and vendor Jurisdiction. You will only have to send the TAX code to vertex which will fetch the tax amount from vertex. In SRM you need to maintain the Jurisdiction code in Plant address and vendor addresses. In standard Jurisdiction code is not mandatory but you will need this to send a call to vertex system. Your core VERTEX team may help you further. The common error you will face in creation of shopping cart is "Jurisdiction code could not be determined" which is basically due to non maintenance of J'code in delivery address.
Hope this info may help you.
Regards
Kiran
