HI Wolfgang,

NWBC is not madatory, it is used when you not installing Portal in your landscape.

To run SRM scenario you either need a portal or NWB

Hi Wolfgang,

Upto SRM 7.0 SP 10 Enterprise Portal is mandatory. Then after you can use NWBC client.

& NWBC client is not mandatory for any version.

FYI... EP & NWBC are both based on Web Dynpro application. NWBC is smart client; which will improve Web Dynpro application.

You can also refer: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-8193 for detail information.

Hi Wolfgang,

If not NWBC & EP; what have you planned to use instead of those?

Hi Vinay,

as SRM 7 uses Webdynpro-technology I just want to use a webbrowser to work with SRM. I do not want to use the NWBC.
