Hello Experts,

Is there any way to reset my password of SRM portal using the SRM backend system ?? Please let me know the procedure if possible.

I have link of SRM portal , however it is giving the error or password expired / locked .

Hi Pavan,

Have you tried with SU01 in ABAP/SRM backend system.

If SSO is configured you can unlock or reset the password from backend system.

Using Netweaver Identity management Self-service user password reset, this should be possible.

Refer Note 1639175 - Password reset authentication.

however , being a functional consultant , I do not have access for netweaver Identity Management , I belive .

Is there any way that we can go to protal and reset the same ?? Your help is very much appriciated ..

Hi,

As per my knowledge, the portal user password changes are not possible from SRM system.

Can be possible if the password changes controlled by other system like Idm.
