Dear Team

1) Would like to know Difference between DSN Quota Automation ( As per 42K docs & S4H Cloud) & Ariba Sourcing Integration?

2) If Quote Automation is available in 42K DSN then why Ariba sourcing require Integration ?

3) Does S4H cloud supports Ariba sourcing Integration and if supports then what is methodology for Ariba Sourcing integration?

Tnx

Sachin

Hey Sachin,

The DSN quote automation feature is useful for procurement personnel who are tasked with occasional non-catalog purchases that involve low spend amounts and do not require complex sourcing processes. Under this the RFQ generated in the ERP goes directly to Ariba discovery.

With Ariba Sourcing Integration , the RFQ from the ERP goes to Ariba's sourcing module where you can perform complex sourcing activities before the awards are created.

S4H cloud does support integration with Ariba Sourcing. Here is a link that talks about it https://help.sap.com/viewer/12289688825d47b9af908533542eb0bf/cloud/en-US/4261dd1025d345d1ae1f6cd5902...

Thanks,
Dencil

Hi Dencil

Noted above points. Please guide us on some of the below points.

1) Does CIG required to configure for S4H cloud integration thru 42K method? We understood its Rapid deployment method but in 42K docs we read that CIG set up required for both DSN & Sourcing Integration.

2) If CIG require then what is exactly diff. in regular integration Vs RDS?

3) Is there any add-on we have to install? or only have to activate business processes for Integration & DSN activity in S/4 Hana cloud?

4) Whitelisting of IP addresses is required or not as a pre-requisites?

5) What are configuration main steps in Project plan?

Tnx

Sachin
