We have created a contract in SRM5.0 for backend service & local(SRM) service
Source is getting determined for local(SRM) service while creating shopping cart/request.
<b>But source is not getting determined for backend (R/3 ECC6.0) service replicated in SRM while creating request/SC.</b>
Kindly suggest.

Which scenario are you using ? classic ? ECS ? local ?
If ECS or local scenario, ONLY local source of supply is being search by the system .
Thus no backend SOS is searched for these scenario.

We are using de-coupled scenario (PO's for R/3 materials are created in R/3 AND PO's for local material are created in SRM).
We have used different product categories for R/3 & SRM.
Everthing is working fine for materials.
But for R/3 services we are facing this problem.
For SRM services everthing is fine.
Only found this OSS note 966323.

Our problem is system is not able to identify & assign the source iteself to request/SC (Already created contract for the service).
Any comments
Did you test to create directly in R/3 the same purchase requisition (exactly the same data) as your shopping cart ?
If yes, did the SOS works correctly ?
In R/3 system is able to determine source for material & service.
It is detrmining source for R/3 materials also in SRM.
<b>But it is not determining source only for R/3 services in SRM.</b>
