Some Offline Approval Emails not sent for SC/PO workitems.

Hi,

I have a case where there are some Offline Approval Emails not sent for SC & PO workitems. However the approver receives the approval overdue mail 2days later as designed.

We are using the report RBBP_NOTIFICATION_OFFAPP scheduled in background.

Please advice any areas where we can possibly look to or advise how we can debug this?

Hello VJ,

Firstly I would check, if the offline approval email receives the SRM system. And if the approval/rejection is in the SRM system I would check if the item in the SRM inbox is processed correctly.

Hi,

Check that the workitem is received in the SAPgui SRM inbox, transaction SBWP.

If so, then try to run the report RBBP_NOTIFICATION_OFFAPP manually.

After running the report, check if the entry is appearing in transaction SOST.

Yes, the workitems are available in SAP inbox. Just that the email notification is not sent.

I also checked the SOST entries and it does not show it. However the overdue mail sent 2 days later is listed there.

So need to look elsewhere....!

Did you try running the offline approval report manually? then check SOST?

I havent executed the report manually as its production system.

Also the last run in table swu_wlscan is beyond the workitem creation time.
