Sold-to Party partner on contract

Hi experts,

Am working on SRM 7, in some contracts I have a partner function Sold-to Party (partner function number 00000038) and on other I don't have this partner function.

I need this partner function in all my contracts because in the program SRMMDM_CTR_TRANSFER (to transfer contract form SRM to MDM) there is a check on the existence of this partner function 00000038.

SAP suggesting us to go to BP transaction add whatever we want as a partner in the address tab. but i am not agree for this.

whatever we have in ECC vendor master , i am expecting the same...

in vendor master we too have many partner functions like that i want in contract too
