Hi SAP Gurus,

I'm getting the following error when i tried creating a SC of type "Sourcing Request". for this SC the default Account Assignment should be "G/L Acc"

Errors:   "Account XXXXX requires an assignment to a CO object"

We are on SRM 7.01, can any one tell me why i'm getting this error.

Hello Sanjay,

To resolve this issue please follow the below steps:

Go to T-Code KA02 in the ERP system and enter the controlling area, give the G/L account and click on Master data tab. There select "Default Acc Assgmnt" tab and enter Cost center and save.
