Shopping Cart workflow approval - No Workplace details for user

hi

approver determination is working correctly when shopping cart is created but

we are getting below message in the shopping cart-

"No workplace details maintained for user account "

and when we click on approval workitem in approver login then it says Workitem is not longder valid

Is is authorisation or role related issue ?

SRM version 7.0 and frontend is NWBC 4.0

Hi Bhakthi,

Reason for your issue is authorization, please run the trace for authorization and check what authorization is missing.

Hi Bhakthi,

Yes, it seems to be authorization problem.

Please run the authorization trace :-

1.     Check on which instance your - SM51

2.     U can Run Authorization trace using ST01 tcode

3.     Click the check box - Authorization check

        Click on the General filter - Add user in the Trace for user only

4.     Trace On

5.     Create SC - Select the approver

6.     Then Click Trace Off

7.     Click on ANALYSIS

8.     Check for the authorization

hi,

further to above problem, of not able to execute approval workitem, due to this message of 'No Workplace details for user' , another issue is that whatever approvers are being correctly determined by the process control approver Badi, are getting wiped out.

and the approver workitem, being general task, reached the inbox of all system users.

the only time when we know that approvers are actualy correctly given by the Badi is when we click 'check' button while creating shoping cart. once we click Order button, this No Workplace Details message is seen and approvers are gone from the approval list.

any input is highly appreaciated. we are not getting any leads at all

Hi Bhakti,

Usually when the approvers get wiped out on any action on the SC screen would be due to the workflow tasks not being generalized. That is also the reason why the tasks dont appear in the inbox of the approvers.

But you are saying that the tasks do appear but in all the system users inbox.
