Hello,
Can anyone help me to resolve below issue in production environment,
An approver is trying to approve the SC then getting message as "Document currently locked" hence he could not able to approve the SC.
I have cheked the Table: BBP_WFLOCK but not found any lock entries also no lock entries in SM12
So, what could be the root cause and solution?

Hi Venkat,
The reason approver is seeing the lock is because he/she may have closed the browser without proper log off. This can be due to various reason i.e mistakenly closing browser, browser get hang up etc etc. Standard SAP locks out the document for 20 min so in that time if approver re-login back to approve they will see the error.
As Shashi mentioned during the time user got error go into SM04 and log off that user from system wide. That will clear the lock on the shopping cart, However after 20 min Shopping carts get auto unlock and user can approve.

Please check with your Basis consultnt to execute sm04 and check wheter any user is accessing the same transactions. And also check wheter still approving user has workitem in his inbox by <swi5> or not ? and if the approving has the workitem in his inbox, pls askl the approver to refresh his worklist and re-try.
