Dear All;
we are using SRM 7 classic scenario
We have a problem that after shopping cart is approved, neither the user nor approver can change it once it reached the Sourcing cockpit. Also the buyer can NOT change it.
we are using the standard 1 level approval
I authorized the user in the role for all activity like reverse, reject but still he is not able to change it.
Is there a way to allow the user to change it after approval, then it goes for approval again
Request clarification before answering.
Hi,
It is not possible to change the shopping cart in sourcing cockpit in SRM 7.0.
In sourcing process, you can only add a vendor and create a draft follow-on document. You are not changing the document here; you are just assigning a vendor during the sourcing.
This behavior is since SRM6.0
Thanks and Regards,
Ram

Hi All;
Thnak you very much for your valuable input.
As per your replies, the buyer cannot change anything in the SC, he can only enter vendor and price.
In purchaser role, under Process Shopping cart ==> Activity, I can see G7 (Reverse). what does this activity mean?
My question: can the buyer send back the SC to the requeter and the requester makes make the change.

Hi
As per SRM standard design after approved the cart, BUYER can not change the data .
SRM 6.0 onwards In the cockpit Buyer can enter vendor and price only . Shopping cart item becomes not editable for the Buyer . You can search SRM shopping cart forum from Ricardo Cavendi replies on the same.

Hi,
If you want the user to be able to change the SC after it is approved, one of the user roles should have the authorization level 'BBP_WFL_SECURITY' as medium or high..
role maintenance (PFCG) - personalization -personalization object key 'BBP_WFL_SECURITY' , change the auth level to medium or high.. then the user should be able to edit the cart even after the approval.
