Set Control Parameters

Hi Experts,

We are on SRM 7.0 and EHP4 with classic scenario. I need info on the setting related to Set Control Parameters and its dependencies

When we instal SRM by default the parameters are maintained as below

SPOOL_JOB_USER -EBP_JOB

SPOOL_LEAD_INTERVAL - 60

SPOOL_MAX_ENTRY-5

My question is where do we use this user? do we need to create this user in SRM? if so with what roles?

Hello,

We dont have this user in our systems. But all our processes are working fine. The backend documents are created fine.

But your Q made me think about it and I found the following note when searching through SMP.

Note 557913 - SPOOL_CREATE_JOB does not create any JOB

Refer to Point 3 in the note.

Check if you have BBP_GET_STATUS_2 & Cleaner jobs scheduled in your system. That should be fine.

Hello Sushil,

Thanks for the reply and the note you have suggested.

We have scheduled the standard jobs in our system.

I am aware that SPOOL_CREATE_JOB does not create any job my question lies more to the solution part in the note you have recommended.

The user with which the JOB_OPEN is performed must not be of user type Communication.

What does this mean?

Also please go through the below link which shows the content of spool job user as Admin user
