Service procurement MM-SUS.

For processing service orders(no hirarcies, only one service line)

I Have transfered the service Purchase order from ECC

to SUS(SRM7.0).i am able to see the purchase order

and POR created and transfered to ECC. Further confirmations

for Creating SES in ECC,how?

i have tried with create confirmations in start page of SUS.

but service POs are not available.what are the settings required in SUS (for service confirmation) to create SES in ECC.

with screen shots is more helpful.

Hi Rami,

Are you using ECC with Ehp 4? Have you activated necessary business functions in ECC? What is the scenario name used in XI/PI?

thanks for your Feedback.

we are not using EHP4. our ERP system is ECC6.0 only. I know EHP4 is required at ECC side. But in this stage

we are going with ECC6.0.with Custom developments. I think modifications are required in the Interfaces and at ECC side.

as SRM is already upgraded to SRM7.0.I think no custom developments needed at SRM side.only the service orders requests

from ECC to PI and PI to SRM needs to be modified?

scenario name : ECC triggers Idoc to PI and PI generarate XML to SUS (Orders02 to Purchase order request).

i have checked the Idoc and all fields required for creating service order in SUS is available.is any other fields/check box required in Purchase order Idoc. so that we can map.

in service purchase order Item detail screen(service lines) is not displaying in SUS side and also confirmation(SES creation).

Hi Rami,

Your observations are perfect!!

But please note that Service orders are not transferred as IDOCS but as XML messages. You will see that your IDOC has been posted successfully but when you login as a supplier, you wont be able to view Service POs....This is standard system behaviour without Ehp4. We had faced the same issue last year.

even though Idoc is triggering from ECC to PI. From PI to SUS is XML message only. What will be the difference?

is any additional fields in XML from ECC to PI (like EHP4) required?. can you give sample XML format, so that i can trigger XML

message from ECC to PI.

Hi Rami,

From ECC to PI it will be an XML and from PI to SUS also it will be an XML. Actually XML POs allow Hierarchial services to be transferred which is not supported with IDOCS.

Unfortunately I don't have a SRM 7 system right now to share a sample XML message. Apologies buddy.

What you have configured iis old MM-SUS process for Materials and not for services. In order to process services in SRM70, SAP introduced new enhanced features and for this you need to have ECC60 EHP4 pack and activate business function LOG_MM_P2PSE_1 (including sub components).

Then PO will be sent to SUS using XI message PurchaseOrderERP_Request_Out_V1. An you will see Po with services. When you perform confirmation for the services system creates SES using XI essage ServiceAcknowledgementERPCreateRequest_Out and ServiceAcknowledgementERPConfirmation_Out

hi nikhil,

XML message in PI having service details and XML message in SUS missing service details. we have not mapped service details fields in PI. once it is mapped, i will check whether service details will show in sus.

There is a standard scenario in PI which does this mapping. I am not sure if this can be achieved without ehp4. But anyways give it a shot and update us

we are not going for EHP4 on ECC right now, i think it will take some time.with out this EHP4 we are going for service procurement with some developments in interfaces. if you are using working on SRM7 with sservice procurement, can give the screen shots service PO item details screen and service confirmation screen (i want to check the what are the fields available for supplier to create confirmation).
