Self-Assessment Questionnaire for suppliers

Hi. I have been looking into the new 2308 releases and, in particular, have been researching the new functionality for suppliers to automatically share their responses to the Human Rights Questionnaire (SA-35740: Auto Share Assessments With Buyers).

Current process is that a bespoke company risk assessment is issued via sourcing in the parent realm, but this requires suppliers to respond individually to buyers so can be quite time-consuming. The advantage is that these requests for information can be pre-scored so that any low score sections can be further flagged.

So, not having used the self-assessment questionnaires but noting that they could be useful and reduce on-boarding timescales, I have a few questions:

- Do the responses remain in the Business Network and are not shared across the parent realm once shared? So the only way of assessing is by downloading into CSV?

- Is there only one standard questionnaire for use? (Human Rights)

- Can anyone share how they make use of self-assessment questionnaire in Ariba?

Thanks

Hello David,

Please see below. Since this questionnaire is set to Import, they are not responding to this questionnaire. The Questionnaire has mapped questions. Thus best practice is to not to include ad hoc questions.

  • Assessments set up for imported responses are not shown in a supplier-facing list of SAP Ariba Supplier Risk questionnaires, because the supplier does not need to respond via SAP Ariba Supplier Risk.

Hope this helps.

Chirag

Hello David

Supplier self-assessment questionnaires are out-of-the-box, standard questionnaires that you can use to run human rights due-diligence activities.

- Do the responses remain in the Business Network and are not shared across the parent realm once shared? So the only way of assessing is by downloading into CSV?

  • One way to view the supplier shared assessments is to login as a Buyer network portal if you have Buying & Invoicing to view or download it through the SAP Business Network. The questionnaire should be visible under enablement through a link.
  • If you are setting up a Modular questionnaire in control-based engagement risk assessment project, you may be able to download the HR assessment. Please see the below SAP HELP documentation for details.
  • Import supplier response to Human Rights Assessment

- Is there only one standard questionnaire for use? (Human Rights)

  • Yes, it's the only standard questionnaire available for use.

Thanks

Thank you Chirag. That is helpful.

Do you know if the modular questionnaire would have to exactly mimic the HR questionnaire or could it be, say, 80% questions from the HR and then 20% bespoke - meaning that suppliers would only need complete the 20% directly in the MQ with the 80% auto completing.
