Screen variant in BBPCF02

Dear SRM colleagues,

Our customer has the following requirement;

When choosing the transaction confirm goods/services, in the subscreen searchresults you can click on the button create confirmation. In the next screen in the item overview screen some collumns have to be hidden/view only.

E.g. the collumn productcategory should be view only and should not be a pulldown menu.

I tried to make a screenvariant via SHD0, but the adjustments are not visible in the Web environment.

I have 2 questions;

1. How can I determine the screennumber (I think I will have to make changes to screen 4000 in SAPLBBP_CF)

2. How do I get changes made to this screen visible in the Web environment?

So far I did the following;

Make a screenvariant for BBPCF02 (Z_PRODCATTEST) in SAPLBBP_CF screen 4000 and set the required fieldsettings

Make a transactionvariant (ZBBPCF02) and assigned this screenvariant to it.

Activate the variant.

Please advise on further steps I am missing.....

Hi ,

Instead of using SCREEN VARIANTS,please implement the BADI "BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI" if working on SRM 5.0 version.

Customer doesn't want the solution by implementing a(nother) BADI.

I found the solution; Make use of the standard variant BBP_CF and make the required settings here.
