SC Rejection mail appearing in German for Spanish Users

Hi All,

When we reject any shopping cart, a notification is generated to user with details of Shopping which is rejected. Currently in development and quality system it is appearing in English even if user logon language is maintained as Spanish. Further it is appear in German in Production system even if user logon language is maintained as Spanish.

Can you please suggest where exactly settings related to this Translation is maintained? Even if you have any pointers which you think can be useful, please let me know

Hm...

1. Check the logon language of WF-BATCH user

2. Check logon language for Worfklow RFC (should have name NONE or WORKFLOW_LOCAL_xxx)

Logon language for WF-BATCH user is blank. Still it is the same problem.

Ya same for that. That is also in Spanish.

Please also check the communication language (not logon language) of the recipients in SU01.

Communication language can't be problem as well as constant as we have users from different regions who are communicating in German, Spanish, Portuguese and English.

So mails go as per the user language.

Hi All,

This issue is resolved. We need to set the communication language of as ES. This is not directly available in SRM GUI but available on SRM portal support cockpit.

Try with tcode ALRTCATDEF with Alert Category SRM_SOCO_COMPLETE

In properties the field original language shoulb be in Spanish.

Here is an example of spanish long & short text:

Estimado Usuario

Las posiciones de la cesta &OBJECT_ID& fueron rechazadas en el Pool del comprador por &SYST-UNAME&

Para mayor información contacte al encargado del grupo de compras.

Hi Jorge,

I checked ALRTCATDEF but it is not for picking up from there. Further Alert Category can't be SRM_SOCO_COMPLETE as shopping cart is rejected during approval by one of SC approver. Please let me know if there is anything else which can be useful.
